This is a Conquest: Assault map. Your team will win if you cause your opponent's tickets to reach zero. The Japanese can reduce the American's tickets quickly by holding all of the control points on the map. The American forces can reduce the Japenese tickets gradually by holding all of the control points on the map.

Put the file "Wake_Evenings.rfa" right there, overriting the old one if necessary :
.../battlefield 1942/mods/bf1942/archives/bf1942/levels/Wake_Evenings.rfa
Delete these files from previous version, if necessary (wherever it is within your battlefield game folder):
- menu_942.rfa -- no need anymore!
- texture_942.rfa -- no need anymore!
Enjoy Wake Evenings for patch 1.2 and over.

This is a standalone Map, not a Mod.
This release of Wake Evenings will work only with Mod Bf1942, the normal game. Later I'll add support for other mods.
