BlackMantis Mapcollection for DC_Final -------------------------------------- these maps have been done by Movolution Realities, berlin, c2005 checkout www.movolution.de they may be freely distributed, if you would like to host these maps separately please contact mail@movolution.de -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- This collection of 3 maps is based on the previous map "Sulamaniya 2". It features a vast desert sierra around an urban area. Several features have been added: * full botsupport * 3 different settings (standard, takeoff, dust) * environmentals * dropped object count by 10 % * optimized collision meshes on several objects * custom objects * custom skyboxes * optimized shadowmapping (all buildings now included) * decreased filesize (50%) * added airfield * optimized balancing * seagulls, seagulls and seagulls !!! * ... -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- system requirements: I can't really tell, but I had it running smoothly on my 2.0 Ghz Laptop, 128MB ATI Radeon Mobility, with 512MB RAM. It still worked on low settings on my old 1.2 Ghz, 32MB GeForceMX with 512 MB RAM. You need Battlefield, Desert Combat and DC_Final installed. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- install: extract all three RFA, and drag them into ROOT(gamedirectoty)\Mods\DC_Final\Archives\BF1942\levels\ uninstall: well, just get rid of them again. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- known bugs: * some lags might occur during first minutes of play. This is due to some textures/objects being loaded into the cache. I apologize for these, but dunno how to get them out from start. To avoid during gameplay: change into freecam-mode (console: freecam 1), close the spawn window, and move roughly to every area on the map. Afterwards, gameplay should be running smooth (anticipated your hardware can handle the map at all ...) * I think I have the pathmaps done pretty much ok, but I am sure some of you will find some AI-tank trying to get through a lamppost. well ... -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- I appreciate all feedback highly and will answer every comment.
